Where is the connection to the real world? So far, all DeFi is doing is enabling leverage and speculation on tokens within the crypto ecosystem. Many of these tokens are shilled and make money for the early traders, but then fizzle out. It seems to be a giant shell game. How does a real business employ DeFi to borrow, if it holds no crypto?
