There’s no need to own Sovryn’s governance token SOV to use Sovryn. That’s the great thing about it! But you have to verify/trust that Rootstocks bitcoin peg is solid.
There is also Defichain (DFI). But there you can’t do much with just the wrapped BTC. And the direct Interchain Exchange is still experimental, no GUI right now for this feature, they rely on a central party to wrap it for you right now.
Question about the DLCs. Aren’t DLCs or covered calls not just a way of trading with BTC (after all, if it hits the strike price, I need to sell)? If so, aren’t atomic finance and ledgerx just offering accessible ways to trade/bet with Bitcoin as opposed to offering genuine DeFi services? Though they don’t require getting tokens other than BTC, it seems that there is no such thing as truly hodling BTC while earning yield, but maybe I’m wrong. I’d be happy to know if I misunderstood.
I like stacks and sovyrn. I been earning with both. I really like stacking stx earning bitcoin with xverse you need 500 stx. Im using sovyrn for yield farming.
