What’s up with the Godzilla of exchange projects and #DeFi?」への10件のフィードバック

  1. Hi mate, nice review

Have you read about UnoRe? It is a defi coin}which is developing its own Dapp on oracle to make the insurance market easier to enter. Need to hear your prediction

  2. Atm ETH is not sustainable. They are getting obsolete & common folk don’t care about centralised or descentraliced.

At least what I want is fast & cheaper transactions & that’s what I’m getting in the BSC.

I’m seriously thinking on selling my ETH & buy some good bag of BNB.

  3. Retail users don’t care about chain wars. They just want stuff they can use with ease. I sometimes think cryptophiles such as ETH maximalists are tribal, and out of touch with reality on this issue.

  4. Robin,
Highly recommend you producing some videos with ‘Girl gone crypto’. You both would make a great pair. Both of you are excellent actors/ video producers and are well versed with cryptos

  5. Okay – one of the fascinating/frustrating things here will be if most users, especially new entrants, will care at all? I’m not happy with $75 gas fees, but I’m not eager to farm pancakes either. I can see many narrative driven users loving BSC. It’s refreshing to pay .06 for a transaction. But it does feel like Amazon in 2000. They seem great, until they destroy local retail. CZ wants to overtake Ethereum. I think that’s clear. He seems driven by profit and power not principle. But again, will it matter? The next EIP my alleviate high fees to a some extent, and that should pass next month. But the timing thing seems so crucial too. Ethereum needs to act. Who knows when Eth2 will happen… Maybe I need to stop pinning my utopian, decentralized, ‘power to the people’ hopes onto crypto. Maybe I just need to trade for profits and care less about high ideals. Like another commenter said – don’t bet against CZ.

  6. I don’t understand the logic of BSC not being a “DeFi” argument here. You can run your own node if you want but ofc there is the CeFi Binance maintaining most of the nodes which is almost equivalent to ETH top largest miners. In terms of interaction with the contract, you DONT need KYC on your wallet to interact with any DApps or Smart Contract in BSC, you can enter BSC via any existing cryptos without having to succumb to Binance KYC. To me, that in itself is DeFi. EDIT: and most of the BSC projects are community-driven projects too

  7. Wait! How can this be? One of the most nuanced and thoughtful commentators in the space, who can expound endlessly and seemingly extemporaneously on the minutia others pass over, has just made his shortest video ever on the most controversial and perhaps monumental shift in the crypto space? WTF?
This is a chain that offers transactions that are pennies versus $40-$75 dollar transactions. Great. But it is not a decentralized chain. This is a chain run by a single megalomaniac man that wanted to turn back and fork the BTC CHAIN when he was hacked. This is a chain owned by a billionaire bent on domination and control. This is a chain that offers cheap transactions in an attempt to defeat the greatest decentralized hope in the space.
There is a story here. A story of IMMENSE repercussions. For the Defiant, the one that usually sees the big impact and articulates the long term affect, it is a sad travesty that we get only a moment of discourse here.
There is a momentous effort and tons of cash focused on promoting this chain. There are few free thinkers who see the big picture. So I call foul! The moment when we need your voice most, we get nothing but a rehash of the corporate CZ narrative.
The story is not about transaction costs, it’s about power to the people, it’s about transparency, it’s about decentralization. It’s the 4th of November and you’ve decided you’re going to stay home tomorrow. No! I’ll not have it. You must speak truth to power! Give it your all! Be DEFIANT!
